Overview

The ASPPH/CDC Tribal Health Department Fellowship Program 2026–2027 is a unique, fully funded opportunity for public health graduates passionate about making a meaningful impact in Tribal communities. This one-year, paid fellowship places participants directly within Tribal Health Departments, collaborating with experienced Tribal health leaders and contributing to public health initiatives.

Eligibility

• Hold a graduate-level degree in public health from a CEPH-accredited ASPPH member institution.
• Have completed their degree between May 2021 and August 2026.
• Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident (Green Card holder).

Benefits

• Annual stipend: $50,000
• Additional allowance: Covers health insurance, training, and travel-related expenses.
