🎯 Role Overview
The Assistant Manager, Logistics will be responsible for coordinating the safe and efficient transportation of ethanol using specialized tankers. This role requires strong operational oversight, compliance with hazardous material regulations, and the ability to optimize logistics processes for cost and efficiency.

📌 Key Responsibilities

Coordinate daily dispatch and scheduling of specialized ethanol tankers
Monitor transit routes to ensure timely and safe delivery of products
Optimize delivery schedules and routes to minimize operational costs
Enforce strict safety standards for handling and transporting hazardous materials
Ensure compliance with regional and national chemical shipping regulations
Oversee accurate documentation, including bills of lading and shipment records
Collaborate closely with production teams to prevent storage overflow and delays
Identify and resolve logistics challenges in real-time using strong problem-solving skills

✅ Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 4+ years’ experience in bulk liquid logistics (petrochemicals, oil & gas, or ethanol preferred)
Strong knowledge of hazardous material transportation regulations and safety standards
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics/transport tracking systems
Excellent crisis management and decision-making skills
High attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
