Overview

The Biodiversity Media Grants 2026, offered by the Earth Journalism Network (EJN), invite applications from media organizations in low- and middle-income countries to support quality reporting on biodiversity to drive conservation efforts.

Eligibility

• Applicants can include journalist networks, media outlets, civil society organizations, and academic institutions based in low- or middle-income countries.
• Projects should have significant biodiversity impact and avoid advocacy or politically motivated proposals.
• Applications must be submitted in English and disclose any use of generative AI tools in preparation.
• Previous EJN grantees may apply, except recent grantees from 2024.
