Brand Designer @Clerk

Overview

Clerk is on a mission to solve the user identity layer for developers. The company is a globally distributed team focused on providing developer infrastructure for the next generation of AI software.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and enhance the Clerk brand, leading creative direction and design for brand assets.
• Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team including UI engineers and product designers.
• Introduce innovative approaches to brand design and create scalable tools for high-quality brand output.
• Ensure pixel-perfection in design by collaborating closely with the UI Engineering team.
• Support and expand the Clerk Design visual language, asset library, brand design system, and design processes.

Requirements

• Senior(+) level Brand Designer or Visual Designer with experience in developer tools, AI, or infrastructure-related brands.
• Located in the Americas, preferably within ±3 hours of U.S. Mountain Time (MDT, UTC−06:00).
• Technical fluency in designing interactive software on the web.
• Experience working iteratively with a “ship and iterate” mentality.
• Self-starter capable of managing time effectively and tackling challenging problems.
