The Compare Fellowship 2026–2027 offers an outstanding opportunity for early career academics in the field of education to expand their research impact and engage with the global academic community.

Eligibility

Be currently based at a university in a low-income country, as defined by the World Bank.
Have completed a doctoral degree within the last six years.
Be actively engaged in teaching or research in education.

Benefits

Full funding for key academic activities in the UK, including attendance at the UKFIET Conference.
Participation in the Compare Writers’ Workshop.
A 1–2 week academic residency in the UK for research, seminars, collaboration, and publishing development.
Coverage of travel, accommodation, conference registration, and subsistence costs.
