Selected applicants will receive full sponsorship through the Nkabom Collaborative to complete the online graduate certificate program offered by McGill University.

About the McGill University Online Certificate in Health Data Analytics

The Online Graduate Certificate in Health Data Analytics is a specialized academic program developed to strengthen the capacity of professionals and students in managing, analyzing, and interpreting health science data.

The program is delivered entirely online and asynchronously, allowing participants to study from anywhere while maintaining work or academic commitments.

Participants will complete:

• Five online graduate-level courses

Applications for the Nkabom-sponsored positions will follow a two-stage process.

Stage 1: Nkabom Pre-Application Screening

Interested applicants must first complete the Nkabom pre-application process.

Applicants are required to submit:

• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Academic transcripts
• Statement of interest
• Referee details including:
  • Name
  • Affiliation
  • Contact information

In addition, referees must submit confidential recommendation letters directly to:

nkabom.spgh@mcgill.ca

All applications will be reviewed by the SPGH-Nkabom team to determine:

• Eligibility
• Alignment with program objectives
• Overall suitability for sponsorship

Stage 2: Formal McGill University Application

Shortlisted candidates from the pre-application stage will proceed to the formal McGill University admissions review process.

At this stage:

• Applications will be assessed by the admissions committee
• Eligible applicants will be considered for Nkabom sponsorship support
• Final admission decisions will be made by the program admissions committee
