Overview

The CASH Officer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of cash-based intervention programs, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive assistance in a dignified and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct market price monitoring and supply chain analysis.
Evaluate digital infrastructure to determine cash delivery mechanisms.
Manage the cash distribution process including beneficiary registration.
Coordinate with Financial Service Providers.
Oversee distribution methods including cash transfers and vouchers.
Conduct Post-Distribution Monitoring to assess impact and satisfaction.
Identify and mitigate risks related to cash interventions.
Maintain accurate databases for disbursement tracking.
Prepare reports for organizational and donor requirements.
Represent INTERSOS in meetings with NGOs and UN partners.

Requirements

B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or Social Sciences.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in humanitarian settings.
Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel).
Experience with financial tracking and database management is an advantage.
Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa and Kanuri is an advantage.
