Overview
The CASH Officer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and monitoring of cash-based intervention programs, ensuring that vulnerable populations receive assistance in a dignified and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market price monitoring and supply chain analysis.
- Evaluate digital infrastructure to determine cash delivery mechanisms.
- Manage the cash distribution process including beneficiary registration.
- Coordinate with Financial Service Providers.
- Oversee distribution methods including cash transfers and vouchers.
- Conduct Post-Distribution Monitoring to assess impact and satisfaction.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to cash interventions.
- Maintain accurate databases for disbursement tracking.
- Prepare reports for organizational and donor requirements.
- Represent INTERSOS in meetings with NGOs and UN partners.
Requirements
- B.Sc or HND in Business Administration, Accounting, or Social Sciences.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in humanitarian settings.
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel).
- Experience with financial tracking and database management is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa and Kanuri is an advantage.
