The CIVICUS Monitor is an online research platform that tracks the state of civic space globally. It assesses respect for fundamental freedoms, including:

To ensure comprehensive and up-to-date reporting, the CIVICUS Monitor collaborates with more than 20 regional research partners worldwide. Through these partnerships, the platform publishes regular country updates and country briefs highlighting recent civic space trends, restrictions, and developments.
