This opportunity offers a Climate Finance Researcher position within the Climate and Natural Resources Programme, focusing on climate finance, climate diplomacy, energy policy, and just transition pathways across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

Produce written analysis and coordinate project activities.
Present research findings to diverse audiences.
Organize workshops and events to strengthen dialogue among stakeholders in the climate finance ecosystem.
Monitor developments in climate finance systems and conduct stakeholder mapping.
Support fundraising through identifying funding opportunities and proposal development.

Requirements

Master’s degree in climate finance, political science, economics, or a related field.
Three to five years of professional experience in research or policy work.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in fundraising or proposal development is an advantage.
Familiarity with African regional policy landscapes.
Ability to work collaboratively and engage effectively with stakeholders.
