INTERPOL is recruiting candidates for a Communications Officer reserve list, offering roles across multiple duty stations worldwide, ideal for experienced communicators in global security and strategic advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement communication strategies and campaigns.
- Provide expert advice on messaging, stakeholder engagement, and communication channels.
- Ensure alignment with INTERPOL’s communication standards and global strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate communication impact and provide recommendations.
- Produce high-quality content including press releases, web stories, social media posts, and speeches.
- Develop multimedia content such as videos and infographics.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including law enforcement and media organizations.
- Identify impactful stories that highlight INTERPOL’s work and develop case studies.
- Support field missions, conferences, and training sessions when required.
Requirements
- A university degree (3–4 years) in a relevant field is required; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in communications.
- Experience with international organisations, government, or law enforcement preferred.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic, French, or Spanish is an advantage.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, strategic thinking and analytical ability.
