Overview

Action Against Hunger ACF International is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Community Mobilization Officer to support community mobilization activities within the Nutrition and Health project.

Key Responsibilities

Support implementation of community mobilization activities.
Strengthen relationships with local communities.
Increase participation of community members across project activities.
Monitor and evaluate nutrition and health programs.
Facilitate training for community volunteers and CHIPS agents.
Establish and supervise care groups.
Support capacity building activities.
Ensure effective reporting, coordination, and documentation of project activities.
Build strong relationships with community leaders and government stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor Degree in Health Education, Community Development, Sociology, Psychology, Communications, or a related social science field.
Minimum of 2 years experience in community mobilization, preferably within humanitarian or development programs.
Experience in Nutrition, Health, or WASH interventions is advantageous.
Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa or Kanuri is a plus.
Strong communication skills and teamwork abilities.
