Overview

The Learning and Development Manager provides strategic and technical leadership in learning and development, focusing on planning and implementing systems and activities that build a skilled and high-performing workforce.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and continuously improve the learning and development strategy.
Lead annual planning and budget management for learning activities.
Support managers to identify skills gaps and create effective learning environments.
Design and implement learning solutions (training, coaching, etc.).
Promote equal access to learning opportunities.
Guide staff on career development pathways.
Ensure effective use of digital learning platforms.
Develop guidelines for learning mobility and onboarding processes.
Strengthen performance management.
Provide technical support to HR managers and trainers.
Facilitate training sessions and leadership development programs.
Conduct regular field visits to support learning activities.
Collaborate with other MSF sections and partners.
Ensure monitoring, reporting, and documentation of learning activities.

Requirements

Degree in Human Resources, Learning and Development, or relevant field.
Minimum of two years experience in a learning and development role.
Experience in planning, coordinating, and reporting learning activities.
Strong knowledge of learning and development tools and methods.
Fluency in English; local language knowledge is an advantage.

Benefits
