Overview

Applications are invited for the position of Consortium Cash Coordinator with Danish Refugee Council. The role is part of the Cash and Rapid Response Mechanism Consortium, focusing on delivering life-saving assistance to communities affected by conflict and climate-related crises in Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overall technical leadership and strategic guidance for the consortium’s cash assistance programming.
Oversee programme design and support partner organizations.
Ensure quality implementation of cash and voucher assistance interventions.
Lead the consortium’s technical working group on cash programming.
Develop operational tools and standard operating procedures.
Support programme monitoring and evaluation.
Coordinate with donors, humanitarian partners, and sector working groups.

Requirements

At least seven years of experience in cash and voucher assistance, livelihoods programming, economic recovery, or food security within complex humanitarian contexts.
At least five years of experience managing or designing cash-based programmes.
Master’s Degree in development studies, humanitarian affairs, social sciences, or related field preferred; Bachelor’s Degree considered with relevant experience.
Strong analytical skills and programme design experience.
Able to work effectively in high-pressure humanitarian environments.
