Overview

Notion is seeking a Data Science Intern for Winter 2027 to conduct analyses and provide insights to improve the product and business. This internship will run from January 25 to April 16, requiring in-office work in San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct data analyses to uncover opportunities for improvements in the product and business.
• Communicate insights with actionable recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to learn about their functions and leverage data to advance their areas.
• Create metrics and dashboards to track the growth and health of Notion.
• Effectively communicate insights and recommendations to leadership to impact strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in a quantitative field (e.g., Economics, Statistics, Applied Math, Engineering, Computer Science, or Natural Sciences), with graduation before December 2027.
• Previous research or internship experience.
• Proficient in SQL for data manipulation.
• Working towards proficiency in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python or R).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a dynamic environment.

Benefits

Notion offers competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The estimated hourly range for this role is $55/hr for Bachelor's candidates and $59/hr for Master's candidates in San Francisco.

Location

Remote work is not available; candidates must work in the San Francisco office.
