Overview

GirlTREK has announced a Request for Proposals (RFP) for organizations interested in partnering to develop the Joy and Justice Academy, a new initiative designed to empower Black women to address community challenges and influence policy change.

Key Responsibilities

• Designing the curriculum and training modules for the academy
• Supporting advocacy and community organizing training programs
• Developing capacity-building strategies for participants
• Implementing training and facilitating workshops
• Providing guidance on effective advocacy and policy engagement

Requirements

• Strong expertise in advocacy and policy engagement
• Community organizing experience
• Curriculum design and development skills
• Capacity-building and leadership training expertise
• Experience in training implementation and facilitation
• Experience working with grassroots movements, civic engagement initiatives, or social justice programs
