Overview

NICE Ltd. is seeking a DevOps Engineer. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks to streamline cloud infrastructure provisioning and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive infrastructure standardization and operational excellence by designing and developing automation frameworks in Python.
• Build and enhance Terraform code-generation platforms using Python and Jinja2.
• Develop and maintain Puppet modules for managing Linux and Windows environments.
• Create PowerShell automation solutions for server management and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Develop internal automation tools and command-line utilities.
• Integrate automation frameworks with CI/CD pipelines for automated validation and deployment of infrastructure changes.
• Implement testing strategies for infrastructure code.
• Document automation frameworks and infrastructure templates.
• Participate in code reviews and share best practices within the engineering team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of Python development experience, focusing on structured, testable application code.
• Strong understanding of Python packaging and code quality tooling.
• Experience with Jinja2 templating and building portable CLI tools.
• Strong Terraform proficiency and familiarity with Terraform tooling.
• Hands-on experience with Puppet for configuration management.
• Proficient in PowerShell scripting, with experience automating Active Directory tasks.
• Solid AWS experience and familiarity with CI/CD platforms.
• Comfortable with both Linux and Windows Server in production environments.
