Director of Technology and Architecture @NICE Actimize

Overview

The Director of Technology and Architecture at NiCE Actimize will own the technical vision encompassing a wide-ranging set of products. This hands-on leadership role combines technical authority with enterprise strategy to ensure products are coherent, secure, scalable, and economical to build and operate.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the multi-year target architecture across the entire product suite.
• Establish an architecture strategy for various deployment models (on-premise, private cloud, public cloud, cloud SaaS).
• Drive platform and shared-services strategy to reduce fragmentation across products.
• Help architects translate business and product strategy into technical roadmaps.
• Embed security, privacy, and compliance into the architecture by design.
• Establish architecture governance functions and evaluate core technologies and platforms.
• Lead and mentor a community of architects and senior engineers.
• Represent the company's technical vision with customers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• 12+ years in software engineering with a track record in senior architecture roles.
• Experience with enterprise-grade products and multiple deployment models.
• Expertise in distributed systems, data architecture, API design, and public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong command of security and resilience engineering.
• Experience in regulated environments, ideally in financial services.
• Proven ability to influence senior engineers and executives without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
