Overview
The role involves leading the Sales Compensation & Planning function at Dropbox, defining and implementing the global sales compensation strategy, quota methodology, and incentive planning framework. It will focus on driving revenue growth, profitability, and seller productivity through collaboration with various departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Define long-term sales compensation philosophy and governance aligned to business strategy.
- Advise executive leadership on compensation strategy, productivity, and planning decisions.
- Contextualize market trends to evolve compensation strategies.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations to align compensation strategies with commercial objectives.
- Design and govern scalable sales compensation programs across diverse market segments.
- Establish processes for plan modifications and new initiatives.
- Oversee incentive compensation operations including payout calculations and reporting.
- Drive improvements through automation and process simplification.
- Mentor and build a high-performing compensation and planning team.
Requirements
- 12+ years in sales compensation, sales operations, or finance; 5+ years in a leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of sales compensation design and incentive operations.
- Experience in designing compensation strategies for complex, SaaS organizations.
- Ability to influence leadership and drive decisions through analytics.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in financial modeling.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and compensation platforms (Forma preferred).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
