Director, Solution Consulting Operations @Five9

Overview

Five9 is seeking a Director of Solution Consulting Operations to lead a team at the intersection of Product, Sales, and the broader Solution Consulting organization. This role involves defining and executing the next-generation vision for how Solution Consultants access, experience, and demonstrate the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Demo Environment Strategy & Operations:
  • Own the vision, architecture, and roadmap for the SC demo environment, evolving it into a modern, self-service platform.
  • Drive the shift toward on-demand, AI-assisted demo experiences to reduce preparation time and expand selling capacity.
  • Ensure demo environment reliability and full product coverage.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to prioritize demo investments.
• New Product Launch Enablement:
  • Lead SC readiness for new product launches, coordinating with relevant teams.
  • Build scalable launch playbooks and demo assets.
  • Serve as the SC organization's liaison to Product, translating roadmap insights into collateral.
• SC Team Support & Self-Service:
  • Build self-service tools that empower SCs without relying on SC Ops.
  • Identify and eliminate workflow friction through automation.
  • Develop a knowledge management system for SC team members.
• Performance, Metrics & Leadership:
  • Collaborate with SC leadership to develop performance metrics.
  • Lead and coach a small SC Operations team.
  • Influence policymaking around SC processes and tooling.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Solution Consulting, Sales Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of people management experience.
• Experience in the contact center industry; familiarity with Five9 or direct competitors preferred.
• Experience in designing or managing demo environments and related assets.
• Practical knowledge of AI and automation.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to drive cross-functional alignment.

Location

This role is fully remote for candidates outside the 30-mile radius of one of Five9's offices. Candidates within this radius will work in a hybrid model, requiring 3 days in the office.
