Overview
The role of Elastic Consultant at Elastic focuses on delivery and stakeholder relationship management within the Public Sector. This position requires engaging with government entities to align Elastic’s services with their strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Advocate for customers, building strong relationships and effective communication.
- Pivot between delivery and strategic engagements with clients.
- Support customers' goals and needs in collaboration with the wider Elastic organization.
- Manage the strategic roadmap with clients, hosting quarterly sessions with senior stakeholders.
- Design solutions and integrate Elastic products and APIs within critical environments.
- Develop demos and proof-of-concepts showcasing the Elastic Stack's value.
- Engage in data modeling, query development, optimization, and scaling.
- Work closely with engineering, product management, and sales teams to identify enhancements and opportunities.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Elasticsearch and/or Lucene.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Software Engineer, System Administrator, or DevOps Engineer.
- At least 5 years' experience as a Consultant, delivering professional services.
- Current or previous German security clearance.
- Fluency in German.
- Experience as a public speaker or technical instructor.
- Proficient in programming and understanding of open-source technology.
- Experience with large distributed systems and knowledge of information retrieval.
