    The U.S. Mission to Nigeria, comprising the Embassy in Abuja and the Consulate General in Lagos, is recruiting a qualified candidate for the role of Emerging Voices (EV) Exchanges Coordinator within the Public Diplomacy Office.

    • Work Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week)

    • Salary: USD $25,357 per year

    🌍 Role Overview

    The Emerging Voices Exchanges Coordinator will design, implement, and evaluate programs that engage youth, civil society groups, and underserved communities not typically included in traditional diplomatic outreach. The role focuses on strengthening public engagement and fostering impactful exchange programs across Nigeria.

    🔧 Key Responsibilities

    • Coordinate and manage exchange programs for Emerging Voices audiences

    • Design and implement outreach initiatives targeting youth and vulnerable groups

    • Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and impact

    • Engage stakeholders, including civil society and community leaders

    • Plan and execute events such as workshops, seminars, and conferences

    • Manage project budgets and partnerships

    • Track audience trends and adapt engagement strategies accordingly

    🎓 Requirements

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, International Relations, Education, Marketing, or related field

    • NYSC Certificate or Exemption required

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in communications, public engagement, or education

    • Experience in international, academic, or government environments is required

    🧠 Skills & Competencies

    • Strong analytical and project management skills

    • Excellent communication and cross-cultural engagement abilities

    • Ability to write reports, deliver presentations, and manage public programs

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital tools

    • Knowledge of social media, content creation, and audience engagement strategies

    • Ability to communicate in English and at least one major Nigerian language (Yoruba, Hausa, or Igbo) is an advantage
