Engaged Democracy Initiative Response Hub Grants for Civic Organizations @European Fund for the Balkans

Overview

Civil society organizations and grassroots movements across the Western Balkans have an opportunity to access flexible funding through the Response Hub Grants under the European Fund for the Balkans Engaged Democracy Initiative (EDI).

Eligibility

• Open to applicants from the Western Balkans Six (WB6) countries:
• Albania
• Bosnia and Herzegovina
• Kosovo
• Montenegro
• North Macedonia
• Serbia
• Eligible applicants include registered NGOs, informal movements, grassroots initiatives, and regional civil society networks.
• Informal groups may apply through a Fiscal Host (a registered NGO) or consultancy contracts.

The program provides rapid, adaptable financial support, empowering organizations that protect democratic values and public interests.

• Social Urgency Grants (Up to €7,000)
• Organizational Urgency Grants (Up to €700)
• Innovation Grants (Up to €5,000)
• Travel Grants (Up to €1,500)
• Organizational Development Grants (Up to €2,000)
