Events Manager | EMEA | Remote @Grafana Labs

Overview

Grafana Labs is the company behind Grafana Cloud, a fully managed observability platform trusted by over 10,000 organizations. They are a 100% remote company with team members across 40+ countries. The EMEA Events Manager will own and deliver regional events across EMEA and eventually APJ, managing everything from logistics to vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and execute a portfolio of in-person events, including regional user conferences and third-party sponsorships.
• Lead event logistics: venue sourcing, vendor coordination, design, and on-site execution.
• Maintain budgets, timelines, and vendor communications while ensuring stakeholder alignment.
• Define event success metrics and deliver post-event analysis for actionable improvements.
• Create and approve event assets to ensure brand consistency.
• Utilize AI and automation tools to enhance planning and reporting processes.
• Proactively identify risks and resolve issues during events.
• Collaborate with various teams to align event strategies with business objectives.
• Guide junior team members and contractors while being hands-on in execution.

Requirements

• Located in the UK, Netherlands, Sweden, or Germany.
• 4+ years of direct event management experience, including hosted conferences.
• Proven experience in managing the full event lifecycle.
• Ability to make real-time decisions on-site.
• Willingness to travel approximately 40% of the time.
• Curiosity in adopting new marketing technologies, including AI tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in registration platforms and familiarity with Salesforce preferred.
