Women at the Centre is a non-profit organization dedicated to eradicating violence against women-identified, gender queer, 2-spirited, and trans-identified people through personal, political, and social advocacy.
Current Job Opportunities
Women at the Centre is currently hiring for three vital roles to support their mission under the “Beyond Surviving” project.
1. Sustainability Coordinator
Contract: Part-Time (14 hours/week), until March 31, 2027
Salary: $39.80/hour
Closing Date: April 30, 2026
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and launch of GBA+ policies and survivor-led research manuals
- Lead organizational sustainability planning and grant-writing guideline development
- Coordinate a 3-year organizational strategic plan and facilitate a 2-day team engagement event
- Support project management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
- Practice trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-oppression frameworks in all activities
Requirements
- Post-secondary education in Social Work, Gender Studies, Non-Profit Management, or related fields
- 2-3 years experience in project coordination or organizational development within non-profits
- Strong facilitation, relationship-building, and project management skills
- Knowledge of GBA+, anti-oppression, and survivor-led principles
- Experience in policy development and grant writing is an asset

2. Research Coordinator
Contract: Full-Time (New Role), until March 31, 2027
Salary Range: $52,000 – $58,000 + Benefits
Closing Date: April 30, 2026
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Develop research manuals, templates, and protocols aligned with survivor-led principles
- Support ethical research practices, participant safety, and data analysis
- Facilitate staff training on research standards and methodologies
- Contribute to organizational research standards and reporting practices
- Participate in a 2-day in-person team event to share findings and build organizational culture
Requirements
- 3-5 years experience in academic, applied, or non-profit research
- Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative analysis, research tool development, and ethics protocols
- Knowledge of gender equity, GBA+, and survivor-led research principles
- Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills

3. Human Relations Coordinator
Contract: Part-Time (14 hours/week), until March 31, 2027
Salary: $39.80/hour

Location: Remote / Hybrid
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement organizational policies, including GBA+ and survivor-led frameworks
- Coordinate staff training and learning plans
- Support organizational evaluation, internal reporting, and team engagement activities
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration and collective decision-making
- Support a 2-day in-person team event and report on project outcomes
Requirements
- 2-3 years experience in human resources, organizational development, or project coordination
- Strong facilitation, policy development, and team training skills
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practices, anti-oppression, and feminist frameworks
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
