    Job Summary

    UNICEF is seeking a Knowledge Management Analyst to support the development, connection, and utilization of knowledge to promote safe, secure, and rights-respecting digital ecosystems for children.

    This role involves contributing to information security awareness, research, advocacy, and knowledge sharing initiatives, supporting the translation of complex technical concepts into practical tools and strategic narratives.

    The position offers an excellent opportunity to work at the intersection of digital transformation and child rights, collaborating with global stakeholders.

    Key Responsibilities

    Learning and Awareness Initiatives

    • Design, deliver, and improve information security awareness and digital guardrails training programs, including multilingual roll-outs.
    • Support innovative learning approaches to promote behavior change among diverse audiences.

    Knowledge Products and Communication

    • Develop guidance materials, briefs, toolkits, and communication assets.
    • Translate technical concepts into clear, engaging content tailored to different audiences.

    Advocacy and External Engagement

    • Contribute to advocacy campaigns, develop messaging, and prepare materials for events.
    • Collaborate with partners including UN agencies, governments, and technical stakeholders.

    Research and Insight Generation

    • Conduct literature reviews, synthesize findings, and draft analytical reports.
    • Develop evidence-based narratives on digital risks, safeguards, and child rights.

    Data Monitoring and Reporting

    • Support tracking of program data, engagement metrics, and simulations.
    • Contribute to dashboards and reports to inform program improvements.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in information management, digital studies, computer science, international development, human rights, or related fields.
    • Master’s degree in a relevant discipline is highly desirable.

    Experience

    • Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience.
    • Exposure to cybersecurity, data governance, digital policy, or child rights in digital environments.
    • Proven ability to analyze data, synthesize complex information, and communicate effectively.
    • Experience in developing knowledge products, research, and communication materials.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong analytical, instructional design, and technical writing skills.
    • Proactive, curious, and able to manage multiple workstreams.
    • Creative problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset.

    Languages

    • Fluent in English; additional languages are an asset.
