Overview

The role of Expert, Treasury ALM at Bitpanda involves overseeing the treasury function which spans traditional finance and digital assets. This position is critical for managing liquidity and balance sheet operations across multiple regulatory structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage duration and liquidity mismatches across traditional and crypto markets, monitoring the IRRBB framework and stress-testing the balance sheet.
• Monitor live crypto risk incidents and measure real-time exposures while instructing prompt corrective actions.
• Deliver strategic proposals to the Financial Risk Forum and contribute to regulatory reporting compliance.
• Drive treasury framework optimizations, refine analytical models, and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure data integrity and reconciliation for treasury and ALM reporting, maintaining timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate treasury or financial institutions with a focus on asset-liability management (ALM).
• Fluency in both traditional finance and digital asset markets.
• Strong knowledge of multi-entity regulatory frameworks such as MiCAR, EMI, and MiFID II.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems (TMS), banking APIs, and blockchain analytics.
• Professional proficiency in written and spoken English.
