Overview

The Virginia Governor’s Fellows Program 2026 offers an exceptional opportunity for students passionate about public service, policy development, and government leadership to gain first-hand experience working within the Office of the Governor of Virginia.

Eligibility

• Rising college seniors
• Graduating seniors
• Graduate students

Applicants must also meet one of the following conditions:

• Enrolled at a Virginia college or university, or
• Virginia resident studying at an out-of-state institution

Applicants should demonstrate:

• Academic excellence
• Leadership potential
• Civic engagement and community service
• Participation in extracurricular activities and initiatives
