The role of Field Sales Executive, Mandarin Speaking involves building relationships with new Chinese restaurant partners across London and its surrounding areas for Deliveroo. This hybrid position focuses on expanding the company’s marketplace selection within the Chinese cuisine sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive regional restaurant acquisition by mapping, prospecting, pitching, and closing high-value Chinese restaurant partners.
• Engage with independent restaurants in Mandarin or Cantonese to showcase Deliveroo’s commercial value.
• Oversee the entire partner onboarding process for efficiency and effectiveness.
• Support and monitor new restaurant performance within the first eight weeks to maximize growth.
• Develop insights into the regional Asian culinary scene and identify key brands to attract local customers.

Requirements

• Essential: Fluency in Chinese Mandarin for negotiation and partnership building.
• Proven experience in new business acquisition and meeting commercial targets.
• Strong commercial negotiation skills and understanding of marketplace economics.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Valid right to work in the United Kingdom.
• Nice to Have: Professional command or working knowledge of Cantonese; valid UK driving license and access to a personal vehicle.
