Overview

The role of Field Supervisors involves coordinating fieldwork activities and ensuring adherence to data collection protocols at Ipsos Africa Centre for Development Research and Evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate enumerator fieldwork activities
• Monitor interview quality and ensure adherence to data collection protocols
• Conduct spot checks and review submitted survey data
• Provide troubleshooting support to enumerators during fieldwork
• Support implementation of field logistics
• Monitor field activities to prevent exploitation, harassment, or harm to participants
• Identify, document, and report safeguarding concerns
• Ensure strict adherence to safeguarding policies and ethical data collection standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years experience in data collection and supervision of survey teams
• Proven experience in field research and team coordination
• Ability to ensure compliance with study protocols and maintain data quality standards
• Willingness to complete safeguarding self-declaration and background checks
