Financial Analyst @Hiya

Overview

The Financial Analyst role at Hiya focuses on financial planning and analysis, supporting SMB and enterprise customers. The position is part of the Finance team, responsible for forecasting models, budgeting, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial models for forecasting and scenario analysis, utilizing AI tools to enhance efficiency.
• Own OPEX budgeting and actuals reporting, including monthly variance reviews and collaboration with business leaders.
• Manage company-wide dashboards reflecting key SaaS metrics, AI adoption/ROI, and GTM ROI analysis.
• Support headcount planning with People and department leads.
• Conduct ad hoc analysis for strategic initiatives and leadership decisions.
• Identify opportunities for implementing AI and automation across reporting and analysis processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or related field.
• 1-2 years in an analytical role, including internships and academic projects.
• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, with experience in financial modeling and dashboard creation.
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) and the ability to assess their outputs.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Capability to distill large data sets into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders.
