Overview

The NiCE AI Forward Deployed Engineer is a highly technical full-stack engineer responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI-driven customer engagement solutions. This role integrates software engineering, AI agent development, and customer solution architecture, addressing complex business challenges with intelligent automation solutions across voice and digital channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver production-ready conversational AI agents to drive company growth.
• Manage the entire AI agent lifecycle from pilot to launch and ongoing refinement.
• Collaborate with decision-makers at leading enterprises to tackle their challenges.
• Ensure the evolution of the platform through field data and experiences.
• Build agents that outperform human operators in customer interactions.
• Drive design partnerships around new product directions and workflows.
• Set standards for AI agent construction, evaluation, and improvement.

Requirements

• Experience building and operating end-to-end production systems at scale.
• Hands-on experience or familiarity with AI/LLM-powered systems in production.
• Working knowledge of evaluation frameworks, orchestration tooling, and prompt engineering.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and strategic skills to operate in ambiguity.
• Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles is beneficial.
