Overview

The Freedom Together Foundation is seeking a Senior Program Officer for the Movement Infrastructure & Explorations team to strengthen social movements and promote pro-democracy efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to ensure healthy, effective movements.
• Lead and advance MIE’s Black Organizing strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with current and potential grantees.
• Monitor grantee progress and provide proactive support.
• Collaborate with other program teams and funder partners.
• Prepare materials for meetings and maintain accurate records.

Requirements

• Minimum of 10 years’ experience in community organizing or engagement.
• At least 2 years managing and leading teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient with Google Suite; collaborative and proactive attitude.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel (up to 35%).

Benefits

• Salary range: $183,000 - $203,000 USD.
