    Overview

    The Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage (FRLD) is expanding its team and is seeking passionate professionals to support its critical mandate of assisting developing countries in responding to climate-induced loss and damage.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and update contributor engagement strategies
    • Track pledge conversions and report on progress
    • Support the development of the long-term resource mobilization strategy
    • Assist in organizing replenishment events and dialogues
    • Cultivate and manage relationships with funding partners
    • Support communication efforts to increase visibility
    • Position FRLD as a key player in the global loss and damage finance architecture
    • Develop and execute stakeholder engagement and partnership plans
    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including MDBs, G7/G20, UN agencies
    • Support organizing high-level dialogues and events
    • Manage relationships with partners and produce briefings and profiles
    • Contribute to visibility campaigns and strategic narratives

    Requirements

    • Master’s degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Affairs, Business, Finance, or related field
    • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in international development, resource mobilization, or fundraising
    • Knowledge of multilateral climate funds and innovative funding approaches
    • Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
    • Excellent communication skills in English
    • Master's degree in Public Policy, International Development, Finance, or related fields for the Partnership Specialist
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in external relations, partnerships, or stakeholder engagement
    • Knowledge of climate finance mechanisms, including multilateral funds
    • Strong relationship-building, project management, and communication skills for the Partnership Specialist
    • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus for the Partnership Specialist
