Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEA) Course 2026 in Helsinki

Professionals working in environmental governance and international policy can now apply for the 2026 Course on Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs).
The course is organized annually by the University of Eastern Finland in collaboration with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) through its Center for Climate Change, Energy and Environmental Law. It aims to equip both current and future environmental negotiators with the expertise needed to improve the negotiation, implementation, and effectiveness of international environmental treaties.
Supported by the Government of Finland, the program brings together professionals from across the world to explore pressing issues shaping global environmental governance.
