Overview
This opportunity offers the chance to lead and manage gender-based violence (GBV) prevention and case management programming with the Danish Refugee Council (DRC) in Nigeria, contributing to vital humanitarian efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership on GBV prevention, response, and gender mainstreaming across programs.
- Develop and implement GBV tools, SOPs, and training curricula.
- Strengthen referral pathways, GBVIMS systems, and reporting mechanisms.
- Deliver training and mentorship to staff and partners across Northeast and Northwest Nigeria.
- Conduct field monitoring, quality assurance, and case management supervision.
- Support program design, proposal development, and coordination with stakeholders.
- Oversee case management processes, including cash-for-protection interventions and data systems.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in GBV programming within an INGO setting.
- At least 4 years of experience delivering GBV/gender training.
- Proven experience in case management supervision and working with national and international partners.
- Strong knowledge of GBVIMS, protection programming, and behavior-change methodologies.
- Degree in Social Work, Gender Studies, or related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Full professional proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of Northern Nigerian languages and experience in integrated programming is an advantage.
