Overview

The General Manager Advanced Trading (Fusion) at Bitpanda is responsible for the strategic direction, commercial growth, and operational excellence of the advanced trading ecosystem, targeting both retail customers and professional traders.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term strategic vision, user positioning, and feature roadmap across various asset classes (crypto, equities, commodities, derivatives).
• Own the web and mobile user experience, collaborating with Engineering for low-latency trading infrastructure.
• Drive business performance by optimizing trading volume, active user growth, retention, and lifetime value.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and align strategies with the CEO.
• Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure regulatory adherence.

Requirements

• Substantial experience leading teams in trading platforms, brokerages, or investment technology.
• Deep understanding of market structure and advanced execution platforms.
• Strong empathy for active traders and complex trading workflows.
• Proven track record in scaling revenue-generating financial products.
• Experience operating in regulated financial landscapes, focusing on risk management and compliance.
