Overview
The GLF Africa Hub Officer position supports the coordination and growth of the Global Landscapes Forum’s (GLF) Africa chapter network, aiming to advance climate action, sustainable land use, and inclusive development across Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of GLF activities across Africa, coordinating with regional chapters and partners.
- Coordinate communications, support events and meetings, and facilitate collaboration among stakeholders including youth, civil society organizations, researchers, and practitioners.
- Contribute to day-to-day coordination tasks, documentation, and outreach.
- Support the long-term growth of the GLF Africa network by facilitating knowledge sharing and engagement with regional and global platforms.
Requirements
- Experience in sustainability, environmental programs, international development, communications, or community engagement.
- Comfortable working across countries and cultures.
- Strong organizational and coordination skills.
- Familiarity with African environmental or development contexts is an advantage.
