Overview

The Equality Fund is inviting proposals from experienced consultants to support the evolution of its “Connect” program stream—an initiative focused on strengthening collective action across social movements to advance gender equality. This fully remote consultancy offers a unique opportunity to shape how feminist movements collaborate globally, with a contract value of up to CAD $70,000 over a 2–3 month period beginning in May 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver recommendations to refine and expand the Connect program.
Conduct research and analysis to answer key strategic questions related to movement collaboration.
Produce various outputs including research plans, findings summaries, and recommendations.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of collective action and movement-building.
Experience in philanthropy, program design, or grantmaking.
Familiarity with feminist organizations and global social movements.
Proven research, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A network within philanthropic or social justice sectors.
Ability to work collaboratively and adapt to feedback.
Experience in regions such as Africa, Asia, Latin America, Eastern Europe, or the Caribbean is particularly valuable.
