Head of Customer Experience (CX) – SkillzHQ Limited
SkillzHQ Limited, a fast-growing technology and digital infrastructure firm, is currently recruiting a highly experienced and strategic professional to fill the role of Head of Customer Experience. This is a full-time position based in Lagos, Nigeria, offering a competitive net salary range of ₦1,500,000 – ₦2,000,000.
The Head of Customer Experience will serve as a senior leader responsible for managing and optimizing the end-to-end customer journey across the company’s active communities in Nigeria and Kenya. This role is critical in ensuring excellent service delivery, strengthening customer relationships, and driving long-term customer retention and satisfaction.
The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the customer experience function, including reactive support services, proactive account management, and customer success strategies. They will be directly accountable for key performance indicators such as Customer Satisfaction (CSAT), Net Promoter Score (NPS), Service Level Agreement (SLA) performance, and overall customer health metrics.
In addition to managing customer-facing teams, the role involves designing and implementing service improvement initiatives, identifying customer pain points, and developing data-driven strategies to enhance engagement and loyalty. The Head of Customer Experience will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align service delivery with organizational goals and ensure a seamless customer journey.
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a first degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. A professional certification in Customer Experience, Service Design, or a similar discipline will be considered an added advantage. Applicants should have a minimum of seven years of relevant experience in customer experience management, with proven expertise in handling both reactive customer support functions and proactive retention or account management strategies.
Strong analytical skills, leadership ability, and deep familiarity with customer experience metrics such as CSAT and NPS are essential for success in this role.
