Head of Public Policy, Italy @Deliveroo

Overview

The Head of Public Policy for Italy will lead public policy strategy, advocacy campaigns, and represent Deliveroo and DoorDash to key stakeholders across Italy. This hybrid role is part of the International Public Policy team, reporting to the VP, International Public Policy based in Europe.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and evaluate legislative and regulatory developments at regional and national levels.
• Design and execute strategic advocacy campaigns using various tools to influence policy outcomes.
• Build and maintain relationships with policy makers, public officials, labor unions, and industry associations.
• Represent Deliveroo in government consultations, public forums, and negotiations.
• Advise global leadership and cross-functional teams on Italian political dynamics.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in leading public policy engagements and advocacy in Italy.
• Deep understanding of Italian political processes and public policy frameworks.
• Established relationships with Italian policymakers and regulatory bodies.
• Bilingual communication skills in English and Italian.
• Proven ability to navigate global organizations.
• University degree in law, public policy, political science, or related field.
