Head of Risk & Assurance @Oxfam International

Overview

This position offers the opportunity to lead Oxfam's enterprise risk management, assurance, and accountability on a global scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the consolidation and production of the Oxfam Global Risk Report.
• Coordinate the Oxfam International Secretariat (OIS) Risk Report with senior leadership.
• Oversee the continual development of Oxfam’s Risk Management and Appetite Framework.
• Lead oversight of various organizational risks including operational and compliance risks.
• Facilitate risk reviews and monitor emerging risks.
• Convene working groups for risk management collaboration.
• Oversee compliance initiatives related to anti-terrorism financing and anti-corruption.
• Lead development of risk and compliance policies.
• Develop briefing materials and promote a values-led risk culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Governance, or Business Administration.
• Over 7 years of experience in risk management or assurance within complex organizations.
• Expert knowledge of risk and assurance frameworks.
• Strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
