Overview

The Communications Manager will lead and deliver impactful communications for Opportunity Green’s EU advocacy work and the SASHA Coalition, based in Brussels.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute communication strategies aligned with EU advocacy goals.
• Create content across multiple platforms such as blogs, press releases, social media, and newsletters.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media outlets across the EU.
• Identify opportunities within the news cycle to enhance organizational visibility and influence.
• Work independently and manage day-to-day communications activities.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of the EU political landscape.
• Proven experience in EU-focused communications.
• Excellent writing and editing skills.
• Experience in digital communications and social media management.
• Strategic thinking and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of SEO and analytics is a plus.
