Prospera International Network of Women’s and Feminist Funds (INWFF) is a membership network of independent women and feminist funds who work to redistribute resources to diverse women’s and feminist movements working across the Global South and East.
At present, the network brings together 49 women’s and feminist funds giving grants in 173 countries, mobilising over USD 200 million annually. Prospera’s members work collectively to transform philanthropy around the world by shifting power and putting flexible money directly into the hands of diverse activists, organisations, and movements.
Prospera has a global, small but mighty Secretariat team. As an organisation, Prosperra embraces the feminist values and culture in the way they work internally and within the network and externally with their allies and the broader communities and stakeholders.
The HR Manager will ensure that the Secretariat HR functions are grounded in feminist values, ensuring inclusive, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed processes that centre dignity, equity, and collective care with alignment to Prospera values, and are supportive of a productive, engaged, and motivated team. Reporting to the Director of Finance and Operations, and working alongside the senior management team, this role will build on the existing systems, practices, and tools to update and further develop and operationalise these HR systems to support decentralised decision-making, shared leadership, and equitable representation across the staff team and challenge urgency culture by fostering realistic timelines, planning, and wellbeing-centred workflows.
The HR Manager will support the executive team in strengthening communication and transparency within the Secretariat, ensuring staff are informed, engaged, and supported through all stages of the employee lifecycle. This role will provide operational leadership across all human resources and administrative functions to support the effective running of the organisation. The HR Manager will manage sound people practices, strong internal systems, and a healthy, compliant work environment that enables Prospera’s staff to do their best work in support of its vision and strategy. This will include embedding intersectional feminist, antiracist, and equity principles across all people policies, ensuring their recruitment, retention, and development practices actively dismantle systemic bias and inequity.
