Overview

This role offers the opportunity to work as an Innovation Officer at the Innovation Centre Denmark, focusing on the Nairobi Hub, which aims to strengthen collaboration between Denmark and the African innovation ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Support innovation and entrepreneurship programs and partnerships.
Map and engage stakeholders within Kenya’s innovation ecosystem.
Translate ideas and strategic priorities into actionable initiatives.
Facilitate collaboration between Danish and African partners.
Support administrative and financial compliance processes.
Contribute to the design and implementation of innovation activities.

Requirements

A relevant higher education degree in innovation, business, development studies, engineering, or related disciplines.
Proven experience in innovation, entrepreneurship, or research collaboration.
Strong understanding of the Kenyan innovation ecosystem and key stakeholders.
Ability to transform ideas into structured and implementable initiatives.
Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
Experience with administrative processes and financial compliance.
