Overview

The Insights Analyst role is critical within the analytics team, focusing on transforming complex healthcare data into meaningful insights to support strategic decision-making, product development, and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Mine complex healthcare data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that impact business outcomes and healthcare delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop analytical frameworks for data-driven decision-making.
• Design and implement analytics methodologies using statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports visualizing key metrics for internal stakeholders.
• Ensure reports and dashboards are accessible, intuitive, and effective for decision-making.
• Promote the adoption of analytics across the organization, fostering data literacy.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and analytics best practices.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy, security, and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Public Health, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence, including 2 years in a healthcare analyst role.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, and business intelligence tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience analyzing healthcare claims data.
• Experience leveraging generative AI tools for data analysis and insight development while understanding responsible AI practices.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights driving business strategy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present information clearly to stakeholders.
• Knowledge of healthcare industry data domains including clinical, operational, and financial.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and statistical methodologies.
• Understanding of healthcare data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements, including HIPAA.
• Strong personal accountability and commitment to organizational values and data privacy standards.
