Overview
Islamic Relief Worldwide is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer to lead and deliver high-quality creative design across the organization, ensuring consistent, compelling, and innovative visual outputs that elevate the brand identity.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead creative direction across campaigns and initiatives.
- Ensure brand consistency across all digital and print materials.
- Elevate brand identity through innovative design approaches.
- Act as guardian of IRUK’s visual identity.
- Develop creative concepts from ideation to final production.
- Produce high-quality digital and print materials, including direct mail packs, posters, leaflets, project booklets, reports, fundraising and emergency appeal materials, social media graphics, digital ads, event marketing assets, advocacy campaign assets, website visuals.
- Occasionally support video production and animated sequences.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Present creative concepts and storyboard ideas effectively.
- Manage multiple design briefs while meeting tight deadlines.
- Coordinate design outputs across platforms and campaigns.
Requirements
- Qualification or substantial professional experience in Graphic Design.
- Proven experience delivering projects from concept to final asset.
- Demonstrated experience producing graphic assets for print and digital platforms.
- Experience developing and enhancing brand identity.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Specialist expertise in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
- Working knowledge of both PC and Mac platforms.
- Strong storytelling and creative presentation abilities.
- Experience producing animated sequences.
- Innovative and forward-thinking creative approach.
- Strong research skills to effectively engage diverse donor audiences.
- Excellent planning and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple briefs and meet strict deadlines.
- Clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Flexible, adaptable, and responsive to evolving priorities.
- Team-oriented with the ability to collaborate across the organization.
