Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled IT Service Support Desk Officer to provide end-user support and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of hardware, software, and communication systems within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-user technical support and perform preventive and corrective maintenance on IT equipment.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop and notebook computers.
- Support managed print services and devices including multifunction printers, scanners, photocopiers, and fax machines.
- Provide technical support for video conferencing systems, multimedia projectors, and smart touchscreens.
- Assist with the setup and support of mobile devices such as iPads, iPhones, and Cisco IP phones.
- Diagnose hardware and software issues and coordinate with relevant teams for replacement of hardware components.
- Assist both local and visiting staff in accessing computing services remotely.
- Ensure remote access services operate efficiently without disrupting office-based systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in IT support or service desk roles.
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
- Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and respond quickly to technical issues.
