    Overview

    NICE is assembling a core engineering team to build the internal AI platform that powers intelligent automation across the enterprise. The IT Software Engineer in the Orchestration AI Development team will build foundational AI architecture components while working both autonomously and collaboratively.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own and build core components of NICE's AI platform, including the integration layer, agent platform, Models Gateway, RAG pipelines, and developer tooling.
    • Implement MCP server and client libraries that connect enterprise systems (e.g., Atlassian, Microsoft 365, ServiceNow) to AI agents.
    • Develop production-grade AI agent frameworks and integrate with Azure AI Foundry.
    • Engineer a unified gateway abstracting multiple LLM providers and implement model routing logic.
    • Design document ingestion pipelines and retrieval pipelines for LLM prompts.
    • Build and maintain GitHub Actions workflows for AI component testing and deployment.
    • Instrument all AI components with OpenTelemetry.
    • Participate in on-call rotation for critical AI platform services.

    Requirements

    • 2-5 years of professional software engineering experience with Python or TypeScript.
    • Hands-on experience with LLM-powered applications, RAG pipelines, or prompt engineering systems.
    • Strong understanding of REST API design and event-driven architecture.
    • Experience with agent or orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGen).
    • Practical knowledge of Azure services (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Azure Storage).
    • Solid Git workflow experience.
    • Ability to write clean, tested, documented code.
    • Fluency in English.
