The International Tropical Timber Organization (ITTO) has officially opened applications for its 2026 Fellowship Programme under the Freezailah Fellowship Fund. The programme aims to strengthen human resource capacity and professional expertise in tropical forestry, tropical timber industries, and related disciplines while supporting sustainable forest management and responsible trade practices.
The fellowship aligns with the ITTO Strategic Action Plan 2022–2026, climate change mitigation and adaptation goals, the Post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework, and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030.
The ITTO Fellowship Programme is designed to support professionals and researchers from member countries seeking to enhance their knowledge, technical skills, and leadership capacity in areas related to tropical forests and timber resources.
