    JOB VACANCY – CONSULTANT (FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT & BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT TRAINING)

    Bincike International, a Nigerian NGO uniquely structured as both a humanitarian organization and a social enterprise, is inviting qualified professionals to apply for the role of Consultant – Financial Management and Business Development Training. The organization delivers essential aid and resilience programs to vulnerable populations affected by conflict and climate change, while also promoting sustainable livelihoods through micro-enterprise development.

    This consultancy role is designed for experienced facilitators who can deliver impactful, competency-based training to beneficiaries in Adamawa (Mubi North, Mubi South, Michika, Madagali) and Borno (Jere & MMC) states.

    Job Summary:
    The selected consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering tailored training programs on financial management and business development for internally displaced persons (IDPs) and host communities. The consultant will review beneficiary profiles and adapt training content to suit local contexts and literacy levels, ensuring inclusivity for persons living with disabilities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop training curriculum, session plans, and materials covering financial management, budgeting, savings, record keeping, and entrepreneurship.
    • Deliver participatory, competency-based training sessions using simplified tools, visual aids, and local language support where necessary.
    • Conduct pre- and post-training assessments to measure knowledge gained.
    • Coordinate training logistics in collaboration with field teams.
    • Maintain accurate documentation, including attendance records and assessment data.
    • Submit a comprehensive final report detailing outcomes, challenges, and recommendations.
    • Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, PSEA, and Accountability to Affected Populations (AAP) standards.

    Deliverables:

    • Inception report with finalized training plan and schedule
    • Training materials and handouts
    • Completed training sessions with documented attendance
    • Assessment results and analysis
    • Final report submitted within five (5) working days after training

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Entrepreneurship, or related field
    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in financial literacy, business development, or livelihoods training
    • Experience working in humanitarian or conflict-affected settings is highly preferred
    • Strong facilitation, communication, and reporting skills
    • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies
    • Familiarity with AAP, PSEA, and safeguarding principles
    • Fluency in English; knowledge of Hausa, Fulfulde, or Kanuri is an added advantage
    • Must be resident in or able to work within Adamawa or Borno State
